If you were so rallied up about people destroying vampires then you would't like them exploding in the sun, either. Or looking good. Or being smart. A REAL vampire, as in the ORIGINAL vampires, were dumb sacks of meat that could be defeated by putting a dead animal on your doorstep. Stephanie Meyer did not destroy vampires. She only ruined your fantasies, which is pathetic, since you shouldn't allow someone else to dictate what you fantasize about.
Personally, I love vampires. I don't care if they glitter, because you know what? A vampire sucks blood. End of story. Some are ugly little creatures, some are sexy beings, and some actually can walk in the sunlight and look human. In some stories they can't be around garlic, and in others they can eat them. Stephanie Meyer did nothing wrong except *gasp* use her imagination. Maybe you should too?
Oh, and her stories are badly wrote. I tried reading them, didn't get past the first chapter of the first book.
I've never ranted about this before, but I love vampires, and this argument really pisses me off. I've had my say. Block me, be rude, delete the comment - don't care. I've finally ranted. And I feel better, too.
